Gary Costelloe reports that not a huge number of trout taken/returned over the month but some catches of note were as follows;
Aidan Walsh, Kilaloe Co Clare, 2 1/2 lb trout on dry greenfly
Paul Nicholson Limerick 2 trout 2 3/4lbs wet mayfly returned - Portacarron Bay
Jimmy OBrien Dublin (D.A.D.S (Dublin Amateur Dapping Society) 1 trout 2lbs 6 oz returned - Portacarron Bay
Aidan Brophy Dublin (D.A.D.S) 6 trout average 1 1/2 to 2 lbs all returned (dapping natural fly) Portacarron Bay
Paul Murphy Dublin (D.A.D.S) 1 trout 3lbs artificial mayfly - urkaun beag
Richard Graham Dungannon 1 trout 31/4 lbs wet fly black pennell - Portacarron Bay
Jeremey Capper/Clive Thomas UK 5 trout 9 1/2 lbs - dapping mayfly - long shallows
Paul Richards Dublin (D.A.D.S) 2 trout 6 1/2 lbs dapping mayfly - portacarron bay
Jim Cuthbert Edinburgh 1 trout 5 lbs. and 3 trout 7 3/4 lbs all dry and wet mayflies - Portacarron bay and Bog Bay
